Android PoC (Push-to-Call) radios look like traditional two-way radios but run a full Android OS over LTE/Wi-Fi instead of RF. They have a large external speaker, a dedicated side PTT button, extended battery life, and a rugged form factor — everything a field team needs. Dialog PTT is designed to run as the native PoC application on these devices.

Inrico PoC radios run standard Android on MediaTek platforms, so Dialog PTT installs as a regular APK with no package-name restriction. Dialog maps each model's hardware controls automatically — the PTT side key, one-click SOS, programmable P-keys, the rotary channel knob, and D-pad channel navigation on display-less units.

The Telox TE580 is a compact rugged PoC radio running Android 5.1 (API 22) on MediaTek MT6735. Dialog PTT ships with core-library desugaring and a minimum SDK of 21, so it installs cleanly. The hardware PTT button (Linux keycode 250 → Android keycode 233) is handled by the same MediaTek PTT mapping used for Inrico devices.

The Blackview BL9000 Pro is a rugged PoC radio in a traditional radio form factor, combining a dedicated hardware PTT button with a high-capacity battery and IP68/IP69K waterproofing. It runs standard Android with no ROM audio restrictions, so Dialog PTT installs as a normal APK from the Play Store or via ADB sideload.
