Technical help, account queries, and billing questions. We're UK-based and typically respond within one business day.
Use this form for technical issues, account queries, or anything else you need help with. Include your server address and a description of the problem.
Check that your server address and port (default 5000) are correct in the app settings. Ensure ports 5000/TCP and 5002/UDP are open on your server firewall. Try switching from QUIC to WebSocket mode if UDP is blocked on your network.
Check microphone permissions are granted in Android Settings → App → Dialog PTT → Permissions. On Hytera devices, ensure the Dialog PTT app has been set as the active PoC application in device settings.
Ensure location permissions are set to "Allow all the time" (not just while in use). On Hytera P-series devices, GPS must be enabled in the device location settings. Background location permission must be granted separately on Android 10+.
Create the device in the admin portal, then enter the server address, username, and password in the app. For bulk provisioning of Hytera radios, use the OTAP remote config feature from the dispatcher console.
Verify that lone worker is enabled for the device in the portal and the check-in interval is configured. The app must be running in the background with battery optimisation disabled. Test with a short interval first (e.g. 2 minutes).
Upload the new APK in the portal under OTAP → App Updates. Select the target device group and push. Devices will download and install silently in the background — no physical access required.
